Redbud Workshop: The Personal Essay

Taught by Redbud professor and author/freelance writer Rachel Simon, this six-week course will focus on the intimate and compelling world of personal essays—diving through memories, honing your narrative voice, and crafting powerful and thought-provoking pieces. The course will also discuss marketing and selling essays, and will feature writing exercises, Q&As, and more.

Dates: Begins Wednesday, March 15, 2023 and meets on the subsequent five Wednesdays

Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Level: Beginner and above

Cost: $349 for new students, $319 for returning students
