For this meeting, we will be reading Book I of The Fellowship of the Ring. If you want to deepen your understanding of the book (as I certainly do), follow along chapter-by-chapter in Wayne G. Hammond and Christina Scull's Reader's Companion. This isn't required, but if this is a reread for you, it's encouraged.
