Redbud Workshop: Deep-Dive Into Personal Essays and Features (online)
**This class will be online.** Taught by Redbud professor and author/freelance writer Rachel Simon, this six-week course will spend the first half focusing on the intimate and compelling world of personal essays—diving through memories, honing your narrative voice, crafting powerful and thought-provoking pieces. In the second half, we'll move onto features, discussing timely and essential topics like finding angles, building structure, and interviewing sources. The course will also discuss marketing and selling both essays and features, and will feature writing exercises, Q&As, and more.
