It's release party time! Join us to celebrate local author, Kati Gardner's debut young adult novel. Spoiler alert: No one with cancer dies in this story. They do play Uno, shave their head, get stabbed, make new friends, enjoy glitter, attend camp, get kissed (!), and above all else, discover they are brave enough to continue living life. As a result maybe, just maybe, Casen Martin, teen and formerly the youngest dancer at the Atlanta Ballet Conservatory before the big C happened, believes she might dance again.
This event is part of the QRB Supper Club Series, where we hold a 10-person dinner with the author prior to the event at nearby North Hills restaurant, Aladdin's. For $28, receive a copy of Brave Enough, enjoy dinner at 5 pm (appetizer, main, and dessert), and receive priority seating and priority signing line placement at the in-store 7 pm event. Email Erin@quailridgebooks.com with questions or to reserve your place.
The Supper Club dinner with Kati Gardner is full, but we are taking names for the waiting list.
Teenager Cason Martin is the youngest ballerina in the Atlanta Ballet Conservatory. She never really had a choice of whether she learned to dance or not. Her mother, the conservatory's artistic director, has made all the decisions in Cason's life. But that's about to change. Cason has been hiding an injury, and it's much worse than anyone imagines.
