Jeffery Beam - 'Jonathan Williams: The Lord of Orchards'

Local poet, Jeffery Beam, joins us to share Jonathan Williams: The Lord of Orchards. This book of essays and images brings attention to the influence of Jonathan Williams, his talent as poet and publisher, and also heighten appreciation for the other facets of his life and art. Editor, Beam, is joined by Alex Albright, founder of the NC Literary Review who contributed a poem; Thorns Craven, former Jargon treasurer who contributed an essay on the publishing of White Trash Cooking; Neal Hutcheson, who will speak about his time interviewing Williams for some films; and Elizabeth Matheson, who will speak about the circumstances surrounding a Williams portrait included in the collection.
