KATHLEEN GRISSOM is the New York Times bestselling author of The Kitchen House and Glory Over Everything. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, she is now happily rooted in south-side Virginia. 

MIMI HERMAN is the author of The Kudzu Queen and Field Guide to Human Emotions. She codirects Writeaways writing workshops in the United States and abroad, and is a Kennedy Center Teaching Artist. Mimi lives in a 1925 bungalow in Durham, North Carolina.
