Celebrate the release of Chef Vishwesh Bhatt's debut cookbook I Am From Here at a chaat party hosted by Garland
Chef Vishwesh has been the executive chef of Snackbar in Oxford, MS, since 2009, earning him Best Chef: South at the 2019 James Beard Awards. His food draws from his Indian heritage, and uses spices, produce and staples that are just as beloved there as they are in the American South. Celebrate Chef Vish and his wonderful cookbook at a chaat and cocktail party, hosted by Garland, in conjunction with Quail Ridge Books, and at Cheeni Indian Food Emporium. Come hungry and thirsty, as we'll enjoy passed dishes inspired by I Am From Here cooked by Garland and Cheeni, as well as signature cocktails, beer and wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests will have the chance to meet Chef Vish and hear stories of a modern Southern cook.
