Do I need to buy a ticket to attend the event with my child?
Yes. All adults need to purchase a ticket. CHILD COMPANION TICKETS (age 14 & under) tickets are free for this event, if each child is accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Each free CHILD COMPANION TICKET must correspond to ONE distinct GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET. CHILD COMPANION TICKETS must correspond to GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETSin a 1:1 ratio. If a parent would like two children to attend with them, they must purchase a second GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET to be eligible to receive a second CHILD COMPANION TICKET. All GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS include a copy of Beverly, Right Here.

Includes a copy of Beverly, Right Here, a presentation ticket, and a signing line ticket. This is a required ticket - all groups must include at least one GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET per each CHILD COMPANION TICKET.
CHILD COMPANION TICKET / $0
Includes entry to the presentation and the signing line. This ticket is for children 14 and under only. EACH CHILD COMPANION TICKET must correspond to ONE GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET to be valid. Child tickets must correspond to GENERAL ADMISSION tickets in a 1:1 ratio. If a parent would like two children to attend with them, they must purchase a second GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET, to be eligible to receive a second CHILD COMPANION TICKET.
Where do I pick up my book(s)/ticket(s)?
The book is published on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019. You may pick up your book, and signing line ticket, at Quail Ridge Books on or after September 24th. You may also choose to pick up your book and signing line ticket on the day of the event at Will Call on the main floor lobby of the Hunt Library. Will Call will open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11th.
Will Kate sign books at the event?
Yes. Your ticket(s) include a signing line ticket. Please note that signing details are subject to change. Please check back in January for the most up-to-date details.
May I take photos?
You may take candid photos during the signing line. However, because of the crowd size and time constraints, there will be no posed photos. If you'd like to take a picture with Kate while she is signing your book, a QRB bookseller will be on hand to take the photo with your camera or phone.
How is the signing line organized?
Presentation seats are general admission. Your signing line ticket has a letter on it. Letters are issued in the order in which your ticket was purchased, so it is to your advantage to order early. When we call yourletter, you will line up to meet Kate.
When should I get there?
Presentation doors open at 1:00 pm. Seating is general admission. Will Call will open no later than 1:00 pm. If you do not pick up your book at Quail Ridge books prior to the day of the event, we suggest you arrive with enough time to be at Will Call at 1:00 pm.

From RDU Airport and Points West
Take Aviation Parkway to I-40 east. Take I-40 to I-440 South-Outer Beltline. Take I-440 to Exit 2, Western Boulevard (towards downtown Raleigh). Straight on Western; turn right on Avent Ferry Road. Turn left on Varsity Drive (entrance to Centennial Campus). Where Varsity Drive ends, turn right onto Partners Way. The James B Hunt Jr. Library is on the left near the end of Partners Way.
Where should I park?

All restrooms doors are painted yellow. There are restrooms located on the first and second floors. For food and snack, check out Common Grounds Cafe on the first floor of the library.
What's the refund policy?
You may request a refund through Eventbrite up to 30 days prior to the event. However, because your ticket includes a copy of Beverly, Right Here, Quail Ridge will not issue any refunds after the book has been picked up from Quail Ridge Books by the ticket holder.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
We understand that sometimes schedules change and another parent may end up accompanying your child to your event. As long as each member of your party has a ticket with a valid QR code, the names do not need to match. However the free CHILD COMPANION ticket can only be used by a child 14 or under.
We encourage you to purchase your tickets early for early placement in the signing line. However, please note that due to the long lead time for this event, event details are subject to change. Please check back closer to the event date and watch your email for any updates.
