Is your organization hosting an author event? Our Institutional Sales group can work with you to make sure the right books are there in sufficient quantity to make your program a success (and your author very happy). Your organization can also earn a 20% commission (based on the pre-tax subtotal) by handling the sales details.

If your volunteers or staff handle the sales process, we can provide you with all of the necessary equipment (cash box and credit card imprinter), and your organization earns a 20% commission. Simply pick up the equipment and books at our store. After the event, return any unsold books. We process any credit card slips, checks, etc.
We order books for a program based on the estimated audience size. As a general rule, an off-site sale is considered to be successful if we are able to sell to 25% of the audience. For example, if you are expecting an audience of 100, we would send about 30 copies of the author's book. If you think you might need a higher quantity of books, that can be arranged. We would need about 2-3 weeks' lead time for ordering the books.
Many outside sales are for specific groups. We will list outside sales open to the public here. If you'd like a book ordered for you, please contact us.
