Bridging the Divide Book Club - 'The Intimidation Game'

The club's goal is to foster dialog and better understanding between people with different political viewpoints and to provide a safe space for civil discourse on controversial or divisive topics. There will be several moderators whose viewpoints span the political spectrum: left, right and neutral. The book selections will also be chosen to represent issues and viewpoints across the political spectrum.  The aim of each discussion is to promote understanding ... “Ah, now I understand how they can think that!” ... rather than convince anyone of a particular point of view. The group meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.  The next few sessions and their information are:

Wednesday, March 7: The Intimidation Game: How the Left Is Silencing Free Speech by Kimberley Strassel, moderated by Kory Swanson, President of the John Locke Foundation.

As with all of our in-store book clubs, participants receive a 21% discount on the discussion book; just let us know at the counter when you purchase it.
