Meet the Three Triangle Tenors: George Deaton, Wade Henderson, Timothy Sparks. They and
Thomas Warburton on piano will offer a sampler from their CD. Live music - a free family
concert! Their songs are from many genres: classical, Neapolitan, religious, and Broadway.
TUESDAY, March 13 @ 7:30 p.m. - NC Symphony's Grant Llewellyn
NC Symphony Conductor Grant Llewellyn joins us.
Beethoven and Strauss…or Strauss and Beethoven? How does a conductor choose a
concert order? What emotions can the concert order convey? And can you change
the emotion by moving the works around? Co-sponsored by WCPE.
SATURDAY, March 31 @ 4 p.m. - Aurora Musicales
We welcome Aurora Musicales, a chamber ensemble composed of members of the North Carolina
Symphony: Rebekah Binford and Ariadna Ilika, violin; Christine Martin, viola;
and Elizabeth Beilman, cello. They will perform music by Haydn and poetry by Mark
Strand. Poetry readers are Waltye Rasulala and Jimmy Gilmore. Come in for this classical concert, free for the whole family.
