Quail Ridge Books Refund/Returns Policy
General refund policy - If a book is returned in new condition with a receipt that is dated within 30 days, we will make a full refund by the method of payment with the exceptions listed below. If there is no receipt or the receipt is older than 30 days, we will issue store credit for the purchase amount, minus any applicable discounts (such as Readers' Club or current post-holiday markdown), for items that show recent sales in our register system. We do not refund the cost of shipping.
- There are no refunds on out-of-date travel books or study guides with or without receipt.
- Specially ordered items that the customer has been informed at the time of the order are nonreturnable, verbally or via email, cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Our sale books marked with a percentage off are non-returnable.
- There are no returns on recorded media (audiobooks) unless defective. In that case, we will reorder the exact item for the customer.
Items for pick-up - We make multiple attempts to alert customers that their purchases are ready for pick-up. Customers who are unable to come to the store to pick-up pre-paid items are encouraged to designate another person to retrieve their order, to reach out to the store to purchase shipping instead, or to request a refund within 30 days of the initial contact or request a store credit for the 60 days thereafter. If items are not picked up after 90 days, they are deemed abandoned.
