Join us Monday, June 5, at 7 pm when historian Jennifer Ritterhouse presents Discovering the South: One Man's Travels through a Changing America in the 1930s. Daniels explored the Depression-era South, driving thousands of miles, documenting what he found. It was truly a time of social change and unrest, a mix of poverty, New Deal optimism, burgeoning civil rights, and racism. From planters, to workers, to Margaret Mitchell, he got the stories.
