Meg Wolitzer - 'The Interestings'
The talented author of The Ten-Year Nap and The Uncoupling brings us her latest novel, The Interestings. Meg Wolitzer joins us on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. for the paperback release of the novel both the NY Times and the Washington Post picked as a Notable Book of 2013. Six teens meet at a creative arts summer camp and remain close as they meet the challenges of living and working in NYC over the decades. Even her children's book, The Fingertips of Duncan Dorfman, was a NC Children's Book Award nominee last year. Talent runs deep in the Wolitzer family; Nancy enjoys the novels of Meg's mother, Hilma, as well. "The wit, intelligence, and deep feeling of Wolitzer's writing are extraordinary." - Pulitzer Prize winner Jeffrey Eugenides.
