Carolina African American Writers' Collective - A Trio of Poets

Her book has been selected as the second entry of the Palmetto Poetry Series by the University of South Carolina Press.  We welcome DéLana R.A. Dameron (left), who shares her new collection, Weary Kingdom: Poems, selected as the second entry of the Palmetto Poetry Series edited by Nikky Finney, with us on Wednesday, August 16, at 7 pm.  She is a member of the Carolina African American Writers' Collective, and is joined by two other members and poets, Lenard D. Moore (right) and L. Teresa Church (bottom right).   Lenard is a writer of poetry, drama, essays and literary criticism, and has been writing and publishing haiku for over 20 years. His most recent collection is A Temple Looming. L. Teresa Church is author of Beyond the Water Dance
