USED BOOK SALE—Our Annual BOOKS FOR KIDS Benefit

Through store owner Nancy, BOOKS FOR KIDS get new books directly into the hands of children who don't have acces to them. 

Books for Kids (a non-profit organization) is devoted to making books available to kids at no cost and to promote the love of reading in the children of North Carolina. Books for Kids raises funds to provide books for children working through a variety of qualified groups, such as The Salvation Army, YMCA, numerous churches, shelters, orphanages, and various state agencies. Of course, that takes money on the front end from people who share our mission. Visit the Books for Kids website to find out how you can help.

The big fundraiser is our annual used book sale.  You can bring us your used books for all ages (sorry, no textbooks) at most times of the year and get a tax donation receipt.  We have stopped taking books for this year's sale.  Hold onto your used books; we'll gladly take them after January 1.
